Peer Review Process

The SULTANIST: Jurnal Manajemen dan Keuangan Journal is a journal in the field of accounting that has a scientific code of ethics. This scientific code of ethics must be adhered to by all parties involved in the publication process in this journal, namely: managers, editors, review partners, and authors. This statement of the code of ethics for scientific publications is based on the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications which is guided by publication ethics, namely (i) neutrality, namely being free from conflicts of interest in managing publications; (ii) justice, namely giving authorship rights to those entitled to be authors; and (iii) honesty, namely free from duplication, fabrication, falsification and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.

Duties and Responsibilities of Bestari Partners (Peer-Reviewers)

  1. Receive an assignment from the editor to review written work and submit the review to the editor as material for determining the suitability of a written work for publication;

  2. Not reviewing written works involving him, either directly or indirectly;Â
    Maintaining the confidentiality of the author by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions and recommendations for the manuscript he/she reviewed;

  3. Encourage writers to improve their manuscripts;

  4. Review written work that has been corrected according to predetermined standards; 

  5. Review manuscripts in a timely manner in accordance with the style of the journal and based on scientific principles (data collection methods, legality of authors, drawing conclusions, etc.).

Review Process

Every article that has been submitted to Financial: Accounting Journal will first be checked for authenticity by the editor and then forwarded to the reviewer. Articles will be reviewed by at least two bestari partners (reviewers). The maximum time required for the review process is 4 weeks. The review process is carried out using Blind Peer-Review.
